Charles Anderson (rider)
Charles Howard Anderson (born October 24, 1914 in California , † March 27, 1993 in Frankfurt am Main ) was an American eventing rider and Olympic champion.
In 1938 Charles Anderson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point . In World War II he served with the airborne troops of the US Army .
Anderson started in 1948 at the Olympics in London in eventing. On Reno Palisade , he won the gold medal in the team competition together with Robert Borg and Frank Henry , and in the individual competition he finished fourth.
