Chelcie Claude Ross (born October 26, 1942 in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma ) is an American actor .

Life

Ross grew up as the oldest of three brothers and attended after high school in New Jersey , the Texas State University in San Marcos . There he first played baseball , then his acting talent was discovered. After graduating, he joined the US Air Force and served in Vietnam . He was awarded the Bronze Star , was promoted to captain and eventually worked in the Pentagon . He retired and then moved to Dallas , where he completed a five-year acting course at the Dallas Theater Center.

In 1985 he was cast for the role of George, alongside Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper in David Anspaugh's sports drama Free Throw. He played another role in a successful sports film in 1989 in The Cleveland Indians . In Hollywood - blockbuster Basic Instinct he was in the role of the 1992 Captain Talcott seen.
