Clinton Mola (born March 15, 2001 in London ) is an English football player . The midfielder is under contract with VfB Stuttgart in Germany and is a young English national player.

Career

society

Mola joined Chelsea in 2014 and was trained in their youth academy . He reached the double with the U18 of the club in the league as well as in the FA Youth Cup in 2017 and 2018 . In the UEFA Youth League , he and his club made it into the final, which was lost to FC Porto .

At the end of January 2020, Mola moved to Germany for VfB Stuttgart and signed a contract with the Swabians that was valid until June 2024. The midfielder then made his competitive debut for VfB in the 2-1 defeat by Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the DFB Cup round of 16 at the beginning of February 2020. On February 8, 2020, he made his league debut in a 3-0 home win over FC Erzgebirge Aue when he came on the lawn for Gonzalo Castro in the 57th minute of the game . His first season in Stuttgart ended with a direct return to the Bundesliga .

National team

Mola made her debut for England's U16 national team in 2016 . Then he was also in action for the U17 and U18 national team. With the English U19 national team, the midfielder qualified for the elite round in the first qualifying round for the U19 European Championship 2020 .
