Marcin Kamiński (born January 15, 1992 in Konin ) is a Polish football player . He is since 2016 when VfB Stuttgart under contract, in the defense primarily as a central defender inserted and Polish national team.

Career

Kamiński began his career in 2001 at Aluminum Konin , an association based in his birthplace, from which he moved to the youth department in Lech Poznan in 2005 . In 2009 he moved up to the first team and made his debut in the Ekstraklasa , the top division, in the 90th minute in a 3-1 win at home against Ruch Chorzów with a substitution for Jakub Wilk in the 90th minute in Poland . After he was not used in the following season, he became a regular player in central defense in the 2011/12 season .

For the 2016/17 season he was signed by VfB Stuttgart , which provided him with a contract that ran until June 30, 2019. This was extended early on March 5, 2018 until 2021.

On August 24, 2018, VfB Stuttgart loaned Marcin Kamiński to Fortuna Düsseldorf without a purchase option until the end of the 2018/19 season . For the promoted, the Pole was used in 27 league games. After the loan, he returned to VfB Stuttgart, who had meanwhile been relegated to the Second Bundesliga, but tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the season opener against Hannover 96 on July 26, 2019.

National team
