Fabian Bredlow (born March 2, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German soccer goalkeeper who is under contract with VfB Stuttgart .
Career
society
Bredlow came to the offspring of RB Leipzig through the youth departments of the Berlin clubs BFC Preussen , Lichtenrader BC 25 and FC Hertha 03 Zehlendorf . In the summer of 2014 he was awarded to FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he was used as a cooperation player for the farm team , FC Liefering . On July 18, 2014, under coach Peter Zeidler , he had his first appearance as a professional footballer in the 3-0 away win against TSV Hartberg . On September 16, 2014, he was excluded again for the first time due to an emergency brake in the 3-0 home defeat against TSV Hartberg. In total, he played 19 games for FC Liefering in autumn, in which he did not concede six times.
For the 2015/16 season Bredlow moved to the 3rd division for Halleschen FC . He received a two-year contract.
For the 2017/18 season , Bredlow went to the 2nd Bundesliga for 1. FC Nuremberg on a free transfer. The contact to Nuremberg was made by the then FCN keeper Raphael Schäfer , who ended his career. After a few games, he replaced Thorsten Kirschbaum as the goalkeeper. With 1. FC Nürnberg he was runner-up in the 2. Bundesliga in 2018 and was promoted to the Bundesliga . In the following season he completed 13 Bundesliga appearances, but subsequently lost his regular place to Christian Mathenia .
For the 2019/20 season, Bredlow moved to relegated VfB Stuttgart after relegating from the Bundesliga . There he could not prevail against the also newly signed Swiss Gregor Kobel in the fight for the place of the changed goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler and became number 2.After Kobel had conceded 23 goals in 15 league games, head coach Tim Walter Bredlow gave away between the 16th . and the 18th matchday his trust, then the Swiss moved back into goal.
National team
On October 11, 2014, under team boss Frank Wormuth , he played for the first time in the German U20 national football team in a 1-0 home win against Turkey .
