Diviacka Nová Ves (until 1927 also Novejsa , German Divickneudorf , Hungarian Divékujfalu ) is a municipality in Slovakia .
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1271. In addition to the main town, the town of Vrbany (German Werbin ), which was only added in 1964, and the town Somorová (also Somorova Ves, German Sommersdorf ), which was incorporated in 1877, belong to it .
