The 1992 Dubai Duty Free Classic was a snooker tournament for the 1992/93 season that was held from October 3rd to 9th at the Al Nasr Sports Club in Dubai . It was the fourth edition of the ranking tournament.

Stephen Hendry won in 1989 and defended the title a year later. Last year John Parrott had won and this time he was in the final again. His opponent was Hendry. It was the tightest final and the only time in tournament history that the decider had to decide. Parrott won 9: 8 and thus defeated the Scottish number 1 for the second time this season in a final after the Kent Classic .

The top 32 of the world rankings were set for the main tournament. The players from 33rd place played two qualifying rounds, which resulted in a further 32 players who were then drawn into the top 32. There was no change in the tournament mode.
