As Castle designated main building

The Ebracher Hof in Mainstockheim , a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen ( Bavaria ), was built at the beginning of the 17th century. The so-called castle with the address Schloßstraße 34 is a protected architectural monument .

history

In 1500 the Ebrach monastery established a monastery office in Mainstockheim. The place was administered by the Ganerbegemeinschaft of the Margraves of Ansbach , the Ebrach Abbey and the Lords of Fuchs as a Ganerbendorf. The communal administration lasted until the place came to Bavaria in the course of secularization in 1806. A year later, the farm complex went into private hands and changed hands several times in the period that followed.

The Ebrach abbot Johannes V. Dressel had the official court built between 1618 and 1630. An impressive garden was built between 1727 and 1734 under Abbot Wilhelm Sölner von Ebrach. The farm is classified as a historical building by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation, while the underground remains of previous buildings are listed as a ground monument.
