The reception hall is a German artist duo founded in Munich in 2000 , consisting of Corbinian Böhm and Michael Gruber.

The duo has been making art in the midst of society and with social structures since 1998. The conceptual works manifest themselves in temporary actions , video works , photographs or sculptures . The audience is involved in the work as an active observer.

A typical example is the work carried out in the entire urban space of Munich in 2003 with the Munich garbage collectors "Woher Kollege Wohin Kollege" with QUIVID , the art-in-building program of the City of Munich and the Munich waste management company .
