Enno Kalisch (* 1973 in Niebüll ) is a German actor and improvisation artist .

Life

Origin and education

Kalisch, born in North Frisia , comes from Rodenäs . He attended the Friedrich Paulsen School (FPS) in Niebüll, where he was active in the school band. In the 12th grade he played theater for the first time on the stage of the FPS auditorium. At Café Kö in Niebüll, he improvised blues music with friends at live performances.

After his community service , he completed his acting training from 1994 to 1996 at the School for Drama in Kiel , where he learned the basics of craftsmanship, even if he did not initially aim for a classical career as an actor, but was more interested in improvisational theater . In 1995 he played the role of high school student Lämmermeier in a production of Spring Awakening at the Kiel Theater . During the drama school in Kiel he was also one of the co-founders of the ensemble "Tante Salzman". From 1997 to 2001 Kalisch studied music therapy with a focus on improvisation at the Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences (graduated with a diploma). From 1999 to 2009 he regularly deepened his acting skills with the Berlin director Elke Schmid. He also took singing lessons in Heidelberg and later attended numerous seminars for camera and film work. a. regularly with Julia Beerhold .

Improvisation and theater

Between 2001 and 2009 he made guest appearances at international improvisation theater festivals. a. in St. Petersburg , Ljubljana , Berlin, Bern and Halle / Saale . Kalisch has been an improvisation artist since 2004, focusing on solo programs. Occasionally, however, also performs in a duo or trio. His solo programs consist of stories, poetry, songs and improvisation. As an actor, improvisation artist, reciter and narrator, he had a. a. Appearances in the Stadtschloss Wiesbaden (2007), in the Capitol Mannheim (2007–2008), in the FORUM Theater Ludwigsburg (2009), in the Stadthalle Marbach (2009), in the music cabaret Mannheim, at the literature festival in Lana ( South Tyrol ; 2009–2011) and in Pantheon Bonn. Since 2012 he has been performing throughout Germany with the live improvisation Knopfkino - A journey in pictures and words . In 2016, Ute Fuchs published his first book with short stories, which he wrote together with his stage partner Mehrdad Zaeri (illustrator).

In the 2013/14 season, from October 2013 (premiere in Saarbrücken ) he was on tour of Germany as conférencier and Mr. Bonacieux in the musical The Three Musketeers .

Movie and TV

Kalisch has been working as an actor for cinema and television since 2010. In the beginning he was mainly used in supporting roles, where he often played police officers and detectives, but also characters close to the people (bouncers, peat cutters and farmers). He often took on characters who, like himself, come from northern Germany and whom he also speaks with the northern German dialect.

In the Berlin crime scene: Against the head , which was first broadcast in September 2013, Kalisch had a supporting role. At the side of Edin Hasanović and Jannik Schümann , he portrayed 38-year-old Mark Haessler, a man who shows moral courage in the subway and becomes a murder victim. In the Polish feature film Warsaw '44 (2014), an international board movie with Max Riemelt that during the Warsaw Uprising plays in 1944, presented Kalisch in a small supporting role a "butcher" in the SS special unit Dirlewanger of the Waffen-SS . In In the television film Der Kotzbrocken (first broadcast: February 2015) he was, alongside Aglaia Szyszkowitz and Felix Vörtler , in the court scene the lawyer Dr. Hesselmann. In the internationally produced series The Team about a police group fighting crime in Europe, he had a recurring supporting role. He played Kalle, the main villain's bodyguard ( Nicholas Ofczarek ).

Kalisch also had episode roles in the television series Großstadtrevier (2011; as Markus Schulz), SOKO Wismar (2012; as suspected gas fitter and stove builder Kai Tessner), Der Landarzt (2013; as investor Frithjof Erling), Coast Guard (2013; as freight forwarder Siegfried Kanopka, who suffers an attack of suffocation as a participant in a cooking course on the high seas), emergency call Hafenkante (2014; as demolition master), alarm for Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (2014; as SEK head of operations Pelzer), Sibel & Max (2015; as Matthias Schumann , the ex-husband of a patient) and Club of the Red Ribbons (2015; as a hospital teacher).

In November 2016, Kalisch was seen in an episode role in the ZDF series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons ; he played Tilman Weber, the rich father of the series character Julius ( Paul Falk ). In December 2016, Kalisch was also seen in the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart in an episode role as the suspect parcel driver Uwe Hehn. In January 2017 he was seen in the ZDF series Heldt in an episode role; he played Lothar Maibaum, the father of a schoolgirl who is a victim of cyberbullying .

Private

Kalisch, who previously lived in Bonn, has lived with his wife and daughter in Königswinter since February 2014 . He is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS).
