The FC Falkirk (officially: Falkirk Football Club ) - also known as The Bairns ( "Children") - is a traditional Scottish football club from Falkirk . Since relegation in 2010, the team has played in the Scottish Championship .
The club, which was founded in 1876, changed stadiums several times in its early days, and it wasn't until 1885 that Brockville Park became a permanent venue in Falkirk. In 2003 a new stadium was necessary due to the requirements of the league. After initially sharing its Ochilview Stadium with FC Stenhousemuir , the team has been running at Falkirk Stadium since 2004 .
Kevin McAllister was voted Player of the Millennium by fans of the club.
