Florian Födermayr
Florian Födermayr (born April 18, 1877 in Kronstorf ; † March 7, 1960 in Linz ) was an Austrian farmer , politician and person in the Austrian commercial cooperative system .
Life and education
Florian Födermayr attended elementary and community school in Linz from 1891 to 1893 at the Ritzlhof agricultural school and was a farmer in Allhaming from 1899 and in Kronstorf from 1924 . He was married and had seven children.
Political career
- From 1904 to 1924 City Councilor and Deputy Mayor of Allhaming
- From 1908 to 1919 member of the Central Committee of the Upper Austria Agricultural Society .
- 1919/1920 member of the Constituent National Assembly and then until 1934 member of the National Council ( constituent , I , II , III and IV legislative periods ).
- From 1919 to 1926 deputy chairman and from 1926 to 1929 president of the Reichsbauernbundes.
- From 1919 to 1934 Vice President of the Catholic People's Association for Upper Austria
- 1920 co-founders of the Upper Austrian Farmers' Union and was its chairman until 1930.
- From 1926 to 1932 Vice President of the Provincial Culture Council for Upper Austria
- From May to September 1929 Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry .
- Mayor of Kronstorf from 1929 to 1942 and from 1945 to 1949 .
- Member of the State Council from 1934 to 1938 .
- From 1936 to 1938 and 1947 to 1951 chairman of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities , from 1948 also chairman of the Austrian Association of Municipalities.
- From 1945 to 1951 administrator of the Enns sugar factory , then chairman of the supervisory board
- From 1947 member of the Association of Austrian Industrialists Upper Austria
- From 1949 Chamber Councilor in the Chamber of Commerce for Upper Austria

- From 1919 to 1924 chairman of the Kremstaler Lagerhausgenossenschaft , Neuhofen an der Krems
- From 1920 chairman of the Allhaming electricity cooperative
- From 1928 chairman of the Enns dairy cooperative
- From 1932 to 1938 and from 1946 to 1960 President of Volkskredit Oberösterreich , previously a board member from 1922.
- From 1934 to 1938 Chairman of the General Committee of the Austrian Cooperative Association (ÖGV)
- From 1936 to 1938 member of the board of directors of the Genossenschaftszentralkasse Upper Austria
- After 1946 member of the voluntary board of the Austrian Cooperative Association
