geography

The Kleine Weisach , which is a left tributary of the Aisch , flows through the village . In the north-west are the forests Thistle Pond and Little Winterbach forest , in the northeast the industrial area Rosenleite , in the southwest of Sand Knock . There is also a larger contiguous forest area in the southeast.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document around 1100 as "Frimmerheresdorf". The defining word of the place name is Fridmar, the personal name of the place founder. The certificate shows that a noble Bertha donated her own Frimmersdorf estate including the forest to the Michelsberg monastery . In the period that followed, their claims were passed on to other rulers. The imperial city of Nuremberg , which had the greatest influence in the town, dissolved Frimmersdorf from the parish association of Höchstadt during the Reformation and assigned it to the newly formed Protestant parish of Lonnerstadt.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties and a community shepherd's house in Frimmersdorf. The high court south of the brook was exercised by the Bamberg center of Höchststadt , north of the brook by the Castell office of Burghaslach . The village and community rulership was held by the Nuremberg manor Rezelsdorf . The landlords were the bishopric of Bamberg ( Kastenamt Höchstadt : 4 estates; Kastenamt Wachenroth : 1 half courtyard ), the Imperial City of Nuremberg ( Spitalamt : 1 courtyard), Nuremberg owners ( spoon wood : 2 estates, Peller : 1 Sölde ), the manor Rezelsdorf (3 estates, 1 mill), the manor Vestenbergsgreuth (1 courtyard, 1 estate) and the manor Weingartsgreuth (1 courtyard).

In 1806 Frimmersdorf came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the place was assigned to the tax district Unterwinterbach in 1808 . In 1818 the rural community of Frimmersdorf was formed, to which Unterwinterbach, Warmersdorf and Weickersdorf belonged. In administration and jurisdiction it was subordinate to the regional court of Höchstadt and in financial administration to the Rent Office of Höchstadt . In the voluntary jurisdiction, four properties were subordinate to the Patrimonial Court (PG) Frimmersdorf ( Kreß , until 1830), six properties to the PG Frimmersdorf (Peller, until 1834), one property to the PG Pommersfelden (until 1848), two properties to the PG Rauschenberg- Frimmersdorf, two properties to the PG Vestenbergsgreuth (until 1848), one property to the PG Weingartsgreuth (until 1848). On September 9, 1854, Warmersdorf was reassigned to Weingartsgreuth. From 1862 Frimmersdorf was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued to be administered by the rent office of Höchstadt (1920–1929: tax office Höchstadt , from 1929: tax office Forchheim ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Höchstadt until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Höchstadt , from 1959 district court of Forchheim . The municipality had an area of 8,477 km².

On January 1, 1974, Frimmersdorf was incorporated into the Vestenbergsgreuth market.
