The Verbandsliga Mittelrhein 1968/69 was the 13th season of the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein , which from 1962 to 1978 was the top division in men's amateur football on the Middle Rhine . From 1963, this league, together with the Lower Rhine and Westphalia leagues, formed the substructure of the West Regional Football League and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The SC Jülich 10 was Middle Rhine champion, but waived its right of promotion. Therefore, the runner-up Borussia Brand took part in the promotion round to Regionalliga West , but then also renounced promotion. The Bayer 04 Leverkusen Amateurs and the TuS Höhenhaus were relegated to the Landesliga Mittelrhein .
