The Thuringian League (also: Verbandsliga Thüringen ; officially: Köstritzer-Liga Thuringia ; formerly: Landesliga Thuringia ) is the highest division (6th league) in the Thuringian Football Association . The champion of the Thuringian League rises directly to the Oberliga Nordost . The last two clubs are relegated to the national class, which has been divided into seasons 1, 2 and 3 since the 2014/15 season. Up to the 2013/14 season there were the national classes North, South and East. Up until the 2009/10 season there were two national classes, East and West.
