The Neustadt industrial park is a district of the Neustadt district, West District , the city of Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany with an area of ​​2.9 km².

geography

The industrial area is located in the south-western part of the Neustadt von Halle on both sides of Weststraße between the settlements Angersdorf in the southeast, Zscherben in the west and Westliche Neustadt in the northeast. The Halle – Hann railway line runs directly south of the Neustadt industrial estate . Münden and a few kilometers to the west is a section of the federal motorway 143 . In addition, the federal highway 80 touches the area in the north.

In the south-eastern part of the district are the Angersdorfer ponds with an outdoor pool and an allotment garden; in the northwest there is the quarry lake in a renatured, former shell limestone quarry . The Neustadt cemetery is also located in the northwest of the district.

The Rinnsal Roßgraben flows past the industrial park in the south.

The industrial park had 27 residents in 2019.

Companies

Numerous companies are located in the Neustadt industrial estate, including a plant of the Coca Cola Company, which annually produces one billion beverage bottle blanks for the German market and also fills them with soft drinks. In 2015 this plant employed 286 people.

OBS Omnibusbetrieb Saalkreis GmbH and the Dekra branch in Halle are also based in the industrial park.

In the spring of 2018, the Halle-based company Gollmann inaugurated a new factory for pharmacy vending machines with 200 workplaces in Weststrasse.
