Gwynyth Walsh
Gwynyth Walsh (born 1955 in Winnipeg , Manitoba ) is a Canadian actress . She is known for her television series roles in Dr. Patricia Da Vinci in Da Vinci's Inquest and B'Etor in the Star Trek universe.
Life
Walsh grew up in Vancouver , British Columbia . After she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta , her theater career began on stages in Canada and the USA. She played in classics such as Death of a Salesman , as Eve in Diaries of Adam and Eve , King Lear , Henry IV. , As Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (1990), for which she won the Drama Logue Award for Best Actress and as Prospero in Der Sturm , for which she received a Jessie Richards Award nomination. In October 2011 she could be seen as Nora in Cups .
In film and television she is known for her roles as Dr. Patricia Da Vinci in the award-winning television series Da Vinci's Inquest (1998–2002) and the younger "Duras sister" B'Etor , who she worked with Barbara March in the television series Spaceship Enterprise - The Next Century (1991–1994 ) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) as well as in the movie Star Trek: Gathering of Generations (1994). She starred in many other films, such as Insect (1987), The Portrait (1992), The Beast (1993), A Refined Coup (1994), The Boeing 767's Dread Flight (1995), Dark Ocean - A Devilish Plan (1997 ) and Crossing Fields (1997). For her appearance as Sarah in the 2004 short film Flush , she received a Leo Award in 2005 for best actress in a short film drama. She received another Leo Award nomination for best actress in a short film drama in 2007 for the short film The Sparkle Lite Motel , released in 2006 .
Numerous other television series she has appeared in include Adderly (1986), The Guns of the Law (1987-1988), LA Law - Staranwälte, Tricks, Studien (1989), Tropical Heat (1991-1992), Matlock (1990 , 1993), In the Heat of the Night (1994), One West Waikiki (1995–1996), New York Cops - NYPD Blue (2000–2001), The Whispers (2015), Beat Bugs (2016) and Van Helsing (2016 ).
Walsh has been married to actor Chris Britton since 2006.
