Heike Endemann

Heike Endemann (* 1962 in Duisburg ) is a German sculptor.

life and work

Heike Endemann grew up in the Ruhr area. From 1982 to 1987 she studied biology at the University of Konstanz, and in 1991 she did her doctorate in the field of biochemistry. From 1992 to 1995 she was a post-doc at Rockefeller University in New York. At the same time, she began training as a sculptor in 1992 at the Sculpture School of New York City (today SculptureCenter; Long Island City).

After her return to Germany she lived in Freiburg i.Br. , where she started her own business as a sculptor in 2001. Heike Endemann has lived and worked in Radolfzell on Lake Constance since 2008 .
