Igor Igorewitsch Spassowchodski ( Russian Игорь Игоревич Спасовходский , English transcription Igor Spasovkhodskiy ; born August 1, 1979 in Moscow ) is a Russian athlete . At a height of 1.91 m, his competition weight is 91 kg.

Spassowchodski joined the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and was eliminated as 32nd qualifying in the triple jump . The following year he won silver with 17.08 m at the U23 European Championships in Amsterdam, beaten only by the Swede Christian Olsson with 17.24 m. A month later he won the bronze medal at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton with 17.44 m and was only three centimeters behind Christian Olsson, who placed second, but with 17.92 m , the world champion Jonathan Edwards had a clear gap to the two young jumpers.

At the European Indoor Championships in Vienna in 2002, Spassowchodski finished seventh with 16.52 m. After that Spassowchodski retired again and again in the qualification at international championships. It was not until 2005 at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid that he was able to qualify for a final again and then won the title with 17.20 m. In the summer of 2005 he was the first Russian triple jump champion, but did not reach the final at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki.

At the World Indoor Championships in 2006 in his hometown, he finished fifth with 17.25 m.
