Pedigree of the Immel family between 1400 and 1700

The Palatinate family Immel is long -established in Rheinhessen in the region around Dexheim . "As Schultheiße , mayor, aldermen , Kirchenjuraten and almoner they were [the family members] as free in-bound to the land honorary offices of the old empire village ."

There are connections to the sex of the Amaler and the Wormser Private gender of Amella (1203  ff. Withdrawn), also in Oppenheim is detected. Johannes amellen de Wormatia († 1378) was Oppenheim councilor in 1324 and 1330, and the city's first mayor in 1325.

1364 the mayor Emel zu Gau-Bickelheim is mentioned in the Eibinger Kopiar (State Archive Wiesbaden). A Hen Emel zu Dexheim near Oppenheim is first mentioned around 1400 . He is identical to "Johannes Emmel de Beckilnheim", who was matriculated in Leipzig in 1425 and is said to have also studied in Bologna . His widow Margareth confirmed a fiefdom in Dienheim in 1478 .
