The Institut National de la Jeunesse, des Sports et de la Culture (INJS / C) is a public education and research institution for youth, sport and culture in Niamey in Niger .

Location

The Institut National de la Jeunesse, des Sports et de la Culture is located on the right bank of the Niger River in the Niamey V Arrondissement . To the west of the area is the Nogaré district , to the south the site of the Abdou Moumouni University Niamey . The INJS / C administratively forms a separate city district (French: quartier ), which is also recorded separately in censuses. At the 2012 census, 48 ​​people lived here in two households. There are 16 classrooms and six offices on the site, as well as a library, a meeting room and a work room.

history

The institute was founded on December 27, 1979. This was the first time that music education in Niger was institutionalized. The INJS / C was awarded in 2010 the legal form of the legal form of an institution under public law of administrative nature (Établissement public à caractère Administratif) . License courses were introduced in 2010 and Masters courses in 2015 .

The Institut National de la Jeunesse, des Sports et de la Culture is subordinate to the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
