Kourtéré Samboro (also: Kourtéré , Kourtéré 1 , Kourtéré Samboré ) is a village in the Arrondissement Niamey V of the city of Niamey in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional chief (chef traditionnel) , is located on the Niger River in the northwest of the rural area of ​​Niamey V. The surrounding settlements include the village of Néini Goungou in the northeast, the Lamordé district and the informal settlement of Zarmagandey , the village, in the east Diamowé in the southeast, the village of Kourtéré Boubacar (Kourtéré 2) in the southwest and the village of Ganguel in the west. A dry valley , the Kourtéré Gorou, flows into the Niger River near Kourtéré Samboro . The dry valley has a length of 17 kilometers and a catchment area of ​​more than 250 square kilometers. The word gorou comes from the Zarma language and means "dry valley".

Kourtéré Samboro already existed in the 1970s when the city of Niamey began to expand to the right bank of the Niger. The village was outside the city limits of Niamey until the end of the 20th century and belonged to the arrondissement of Kollo .

At the 2012 census, Kourtéré Samboro had 856 inhabitants who lived in 151 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 302 in 46 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 1,314 in 168 households.
