Chantier Kourtéré

Chantier Kourtéré is a hamlet in the Niamey V arrondissement of the city of Niamey in Niger .

The hamlet is located on the national road 6 leading to the state border with Burkina Faso in the west of the rural area of ​​Niamey V. The surrounding settlements include the village of Ganguel in the north, the village of Kourtéré Boubacar Péage in the northeast and the hamlet of Lamoudé in the west. The French word chantier means storage place or construction site. Kourtère can be found in several geographical names in the area. In the vicinity of Chantier Kourtéré runs the dry valley Kourtéré Gorou , which has a length of 17 kilometers and flows into the Niger River behind the village of Kourtéré Samboro .

At the 2012 census, Chantier Kourtéré had 244 inhabitants who lived in 36 households.
