Tchéna Thayia

Tchéna Thayia (also: Tiénétiaya ) is a hamlet in the Niamey V Arrondissement of the city of Niamey in Niger .

The hamlet is located on the western edge of the rural area of ​​Niamey V. The surrounding hamlets include Wouro Bellabé in the northeast, Hama Gatio and Yowaré in the east, Lougadjam in the south and Tchangaré in the southwest. To the west of Tchéna Thayia is the rural community of Bitinkodji . The 17 kilometer long dry valley Kourtéré Gorou runs near the hamlet and flows into the Niger River behind Kourtéré .

At the 2012 census, Tchéna Thayia had 183 inhabitants who lived in 25 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 102 in 51 households.
