Kourtéré Boubacar (also: Kourtéré 2 , Kourtéré Boubakar ) is a village in the Arrondissement Niamey V of the city of Niamey in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional local chief (chef traditionnel) , is located on the national road 6 leading to the state border with Burkina Faso in the northwest of the rural area of ​​Niamey V. The neighboring village is Kourtéré Boubacar Péage . Other surrounding villages include Kourtéré Samboro (Kourtéré 1) in the northeast and Diamowé in the east. At Kourtéré Boubacar runs a dry valley that flows into the Niger River , the Kourtéré Gorou . The dry valley has a length of 17 kilometers and a catchment area of ​​more than 250 square kilometers. The word gorou comes from the Zarma language and means "dry valley". Rainwater collects in the pits near the village.

Kourtéré Boubacar already existed in the 1970s when the city of Niamey began to expand on the right bank of the Niger. The village was outside the city limits of Niamey until the end of the 20th century and belonged to the arrondissement of Kollo .

At the 2012 census, Kourtéré Boubacar had 44 inhabitants who lived in 6 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 129 in 19 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 300 in 37 households.
