The Iranian U-17 national soccer team is a selection team of Iranian soccer players . It is subject to the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran and represents it internationally at the U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at the U-16 Asian Cup and the U-17 World Cup .

The team was Asian champions in 2008 and vice-Asian champions in 2000 . Her best result at world championships was reaching the round of 16 in 2009 and 2013 . She lost this to Uruguay and the eventual world champions Nigeria .
