John C. Elliott

John C. Elliott (born January 30, 1919 in Los Angeles , California , †  August 13, 2001 in San Marino , California) was an American politician . Between July and November 1952 he was governor of American Samoa .

Career

Nothing is known about John Elliott's school education and his career beyond his work as governor of American Samoa. He was a member of the Democratic Party and under Phelps Phelps Deputy Governor and Secretary of State of Samoa. Elliott served as governor between July 16 and November 28, 1952. Then he resigned for personal reasons. After the end of his time as governor, his trail is lost. It only mentions that he died on August 13, 2001 in San Marino, Los Angeles County .
