Revisions
The VN 2000 , which is carried under the internal name VN 2000 A , was previously offered in two different versions. While the 2004 model was delivered with a "streamlined" headlight housing (see picture in the info box), the currently available model (from version 2008) has a headlight similar to the VN 1600 and is offered by Kawasaki under the name VN 2000 Classic . In addition, the output was reduced from 103 to 94 hp in mid-2008 and allows some insurers to classify it below 98 hp more cheaply.
