The Landtag constituency of Ballenstadt (constituency 33) is a former Landtag constituency in Saxony-Anhalt . Most recently, the constituency comprised all communities from the district of Quedlinburg except the communities of Ditfurt , Hausneindorf , Hedersleben , Heteborn , Neinstedt , Quedlinburg , Thale , Warnstedt , Weddersleben , Wedderstedt and Westerhausen and from the district of Sangerhausen the communities Bennungen , Berga , Breitenstein , Breitungen , Brücken (Helme ) , Dietersdorf , Drebsdorf , Hackpfüffel , Hainrode , Hayn (Harz) , Kelbra (Kyffhäuser) , Kleinleinungen , Martinsrieth , Questenberg , Riethnordhausen , Roßla , Rottleberode , Schwenda , Stolberg (Harz) , Tilleda (Kyffhäuser) , Uftrungen , Wallhausen and Wickerode . The constituency was established in 1994 and existed for three state elections until the 2002 election. For the 2006 state elections, its area was added to the Sangerhausen and Quedlinburg constituencies .
