Laura Tibitanzl

Laura Tibitanzl (* 13. October 1984 in Würzburg as Laura Tasch ) is a former German Leichtgewichtsruderin .

Tibitanzl started for the ARC Würzburg . After the 2002 One Ninth at the Junior World Championships had become, she won in 2003, 2004 and 2006 at the U23 World Championships each silver in the lightweight double sculls .

In the open age group, Tibitanzl rowed at the Rowing World Cup from 2003 and also at the World Championships from 2005. She was fifth in the lightweight singles at the 2005 World Championships , in the following year fourth in the light doubles four at the championship fights in Eton, and in 2007 she finally rowed a tenth place in the easy singles.

At the 2008 Olympic Games , Tibitanzl was the substitute for the lightweight double scull with Marie-Louise Dräger and Berit Carow , but she was not used. In autumn 2008 she finished sixth in this boat class at the European Championships together with Anja Noske . In her last international appearance at the 2009 World Championships , Tibitanzl won the world championship title in the lightweight quadruple scull with Lena Müller , Helke Nieschlag and Julia Kröger .
