Sir Leonard "Len" Blavatnik , Kt ( Russian Леонид Валентинович Блаватник ; Leonid Walentinowitsch Blawatnik ; born June 14, 1957 in Odessa , Soviet Union ) is an American billionaire of Soviet origin. The entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist immigrated to the United States of America from the Soviet Union in 1978 at the age of 21 . He made a fortune by investing in a variety of companies with his affiliate, Access Industries . Family and studies
