List of swimming world records over 50 meters back
The swimming world records over 50 m back are the best times in the 50 m back swimming discipline. They are recognized by the international swimming federation FINA . World records are held separately for long courses (50 m) and short courses (25 m) and separately for men and women. In the following, the world record development since the first recognized world record is listed.
