List of volcanoes in China

This is a list of volcanoes in China that were active at least once during the Quaternary . Quaternary volcanoes are found in both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China (Taiwan) . The volcanoes are mainly found in the following three areas:

• the area on the Mongolian highlands , where the number of volcanoes is greatest, e.g. B. Datong Volcanic Group and Wudalianchi Volcanic Group
• the area of ​​the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau , e.g. B. the Tengchong volcano group in Yunnan
• the Pacific Ocean area , e.g. B. the Changbai Shan volcano group and the Datun volcano group in Taiwan
