Luca Felicetti (born August 18, 1981 in Cavalese ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the WSV Sterzing Broncos in the multinational Alps Hockey League since 2016 .
Career
Luca Felicetti began his career with his hometown club, SHC Fassa . There he played for two years in the first team before he went to North America in the summer of 2001 and there signed a contract with the Ajax Axemen from the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League . In the same year he moved to a league competitor, the Port Hope Clippers . The Italian spent the following season with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the America West Hockey League , before returning to SHC Fassa in 2002.
In summer 2009 he and Stefano Marchetti moved from SHC Fassa to SG Pontebba . After two years he left the club again and joined the 2011/12 season the HC Valpellice on. In the course of the same season he moved within Serie A1 to SG Cortina , to which he remained loyal until 2014 and with which he won the Coppa Italia in 2012 . In 2014 he was drawn to the reigning Italian champion Ritten Sport and with his new club he immediately won the Italian cup competition. After another year at SHC Fassa, he joined the WSV Sterzing Broncos in 2016 , with whom he plays in the newly founded Alps Hockey League .
International
For Italy , Luca Felicetti took part in the U18 Junior B World Championship in 1999 and the U20 Junior C World Championship in 1999 . Furthermore, he was in Italy's squad at the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2000 and - after switching to the current division system - at the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I in 2001 . As part of the men's selection, he also took part in the World Championships in Division I in 2009 , 2011 , 2013 , 2015 and 2018 as well as in the Top Division in 2006 , 2012 and 2014 .
