The 2002/03 season was the 69th season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . Champion became the second time in the history of the HC Milano Vipers .

In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of 40 games. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
