The 1983/84 season was the 50th season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . Champion became the eighth time in the history of the HC Bozen .

mode

Initially, the eight teams played a common main round. All eight teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
