The 1937 season was the eleventh season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . Hockey Club Milano became champions for the eighth time in the club's history.

The games were played in the Ice Palace in Milan on the evenings of March 3rd and 4th. Only the Devils Rossoneri Milan and HC Milan took part.

The format of the championship has been completely changed. In order to give young players a chance to participate in the championship, the association divided the tournament into two parts, a national and a junior group B. The two participating clubs each registered three teams, which could only be exchanged to a very limited extent.

For a win, the first team got one point, the second team two points and the third three points.

On the evening of the first day, the association initially denied the player D'Apollonia from Diavoli Rossneri the game permit, which would have been obtained irregularly, which the management of the club denied. Without this player they wouldn't compete. The game was declared a friendly. After the objection was rejected, the game was rated 5-0 for Milan.
