The 1951/52 season was the 19th season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . Champion was for the third time in the club history of HC Milan Inter .

mode

In the main round, the league was divided into two groups of three teams each. The winners of the two groups qualified for the final round, in which they met the two big Milanese clubs. The first place in the final round became champions. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.

The main round was played for the first time with back and forth legs.
