The 1947 season was the 14th season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . The Hockey Club Milano became champions for the ninth time in the club's history .
A total of eleven teams took part. HC Milano, Diavoli Rossoneri Milano and SG Cortina are directly admitted to Serie A, while the other eight teams (Alleghe, Bozen, Cortina II, Devils Rossoneri Milan II, Meran, Milan II, Misurina and Ortisei) are eligible for participation at Series B were divided into two groups. The winner of the B tournament - the Musurina team - was granted the right to start at the A tournament.
qualification
The two group winners of Serie B played for the right to participate in Serie A.
