The 2003/04 season was the 70th season of Serie A1 , the highest Italian ice hockey division . Champion became the third time in the history of the HC Milano Vipers .

In the main round, each of the 15 teams played a total of 28 games. The eight best-placed teams in the main round qualified for the final round, whose participants all qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played off. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. Each team received bonus points for the final round according to their placement in the main round.
