Lucas Hendley Glover (born November 12, 1979 in Greenville , South Carolina ) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR and winner of the 2009 US Open .

After attending Clemson University with a degree in communications and a successful career as an amateur, he became a professional golfer in the fall of 2001 and played on the Nationwide Tour for the next two years . From 2004 he qualified for the PGA Tour , where he won his first tournament in 2005. In June 2009, Glover won the US Open at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, NY by two strokes.

He is one of the few players who do not use a glove.
