Luesia is a Spanish municipality in the province of Zaragoza in the autonomous region of Aragon . It belongs to the Comarca Cinco Villas ( Five Small Towns ). The community had 288 inhabitants on January 1, 2019. It lies above the Arba de Luesia, one of the headwaters of the Río Arba , at the foot of the Sierra de Santo Domingo. The north of the municipality reaches a height of up to 1,303 m (Puig Moné).

The place is mentioned for the first time in 1014 in the Cartulario de San Juan de la Peña and belonged to the judicial district of Sos del Rey Católico .
