Bujaraloz is a Spanish municipality (municipio) in the province of Saragossa , which belongs to the autonomous region of Aragon . It is located in the south-eastern center of the Comarca Monegros directly on the Ebro and around 75 km east of the provincial capital of Saragossa . The AP-2 ( Autopista del Nordeste ) motorway runs a good two kilometers south .

history

During the civil war , Bujaraloz was a field airfield of the Spanish Republic , which was also used by parts of the German Condor Legion after the conquest of the area by the National Spaniards in spring 1938 . In the spring of 1938, the 3rd and 4th squadrons of Jagdgruppe 88 (J / 88), both equipped with Heinkel He 51 , were temporarily located here .
