Alconchel de Ariza is a town in northern Spain and a municipality ( municipio ) with 62 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the far west of the province of Saragossa in the autonomous community of Aragon . The municipality belongs to the poorly populated Serranía Celtibérica .
Location and climate
Alconchel de Ariza is located about 142 km (driving distance) southwest of the city of Saragossa near the border with the old Castilian province of Soria at an altitude of about 895 m . The historically significant town of Medinaceli is a good 41 km to the south-west. The climate is temperate to warm; Rain (approx. 455 mm / year) falls throughout the year, with the exception of the rather dry summer months.
