Gallur is a Spanish municipality in the province of Zaragoza in the autonomous region of Aragon . It is located in the northwest of the comarca Ribera Alta del Ebro directly on the Ebro , about 50 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital Saragossa and a good five kilometers north of the AP-68 motorway ( Autopista Vasco-Aragonesa ).
history
During the civil war there was a field airfield of the National Spaniards in Gallur , which was also used by parts of the German Condor Legion, especially during the Battle of Teruel . This included the 1st season of Jagdgruppe 88 (1.J / 88).
