MTM (band)

MTM is a hit duo from Portugal . It consists of Marco Quelhas and Tony Jackson . The two represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen and reached 17th place there.

The name of the duo is derived from the first names of the singers M arco and T ony as well as M usik.

Members

In addition to the song So sei ser feliz assim , the song from the Eurovision Song Contest , Marco Quelhas also had Portugal's contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 A cidade até ser dia , which came in 10th. He lived abroad for 15 years and came back to Portugal in 1989 and appeared on television shows.

Tony Jackson is originally from Angola , but has lived in Portugal for a long time. In addition to his music career, he is studying medicine. He sang in TV shows, including alongside Percy Sledge .
