Manfred Fischer (born August 6, 1995 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Fischer began his career at Union Birkfeld . In 2006 he joined the youth team at SC Weiz . In 2009 he moved to the Grazer AK and also came to AKA HIB Liebenau . In spring 2013 he moved to DSV Leoben . In May 2013 he was against Union St. Florian for the first time in the squad of the first team in Leoben, which was relegated to the regional league at the end of the season. After relegation, he made his debut in August 2013 when he came on as a substitute for Marcel Steiner on the first day of the 2013/14 season against FC Gleisdorf 09 in the half-time break. He scored his first goal in the fourth-highest division in March 2014 in a 4-2 defeat against Gleisdorf.

For the 2014/15 season he moved to the regional league for SC Kalsdorf . He made his debut in the regional league in August 2014 when he was in the starting line-up against SV Lafnitz on the first day of that season and was replaced by Albion Sedolli in the 73rd minute. He scored his first goal for Kalsdorf in September 2014 in a 5-4 win against SC Weiz. In summer 2015 he moved to the second division for SC Wiener Neustadt . He made his professional debut on the first day of the 2015/16 season against SC Austria Lustenau . In two seasons for SC Wiener Neustadt he made 70 competitive appearances and scored 4 goals.

For the 2017/18 season he switched to league competitor TSV Hartberg .

After Hartberg's promotion to the Bundesliga , he joined the also first-class SCR Altach for the 2018/19 season , where he received a contract that ran until June 2020. In July 2018, he made his debut in the top division when he came on as a substitute for Stefan Nutz in the 68th minute on the first day of that season against SV Mattersburg . On the following match day he was against SK Rapid Vienna for the first time in the Altacher starting line-up in the league. He scored his first goal in the Bundesliga in August 2018 in a 3-2 defeat against FC Red Bull Salzburg .
