Marina Grigoryevna Sidorova
Marina Grigorjewna Sidorova ( Russian Марина Григорьевна Сидорова , English transcription Marina Sidorova, née Никифорова - Nikiforova - Nikiforova ; born January 16, 1950 in Leningrad ) is a former Soviet sprinter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1971 , she won bronze with the Soviet team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1972 she reached the semi-finals over 200 m at the Olympic Games in Munich and came in fifth in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
In 1973 and 1977 she won silver in the 200 m at the Universiade . At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 she was third over 400 m . Over the same distance, she won gold at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1978 in Milan.
She was three times Soviet champion over 200 m and once each over 100 m and 400 m. In 1977 and 1978 she was the Soviet indoor champion over 400 m.
