history

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1599 in a purchase agreement with which Georg Hochhauser von Hochhausen acquired several goods, including Černice and the Nickelsdorf that had been created shortly before , for his rule Eisenberg . The time when the village was founded is assumed to be around 1590, when Ladislav von Lobkowicz owned the Hněvín Castle as a pledge. However, the village was not listed in Hamfescht von Langendorf in 1590 and in 1595 when Rudolf II sold Hněvín to the town of Brüx . As a participant in the Prague lintel of 1618, Nikolaus Hochhauser lost his property after the battle of the White Mountain . These were given to Wilhelm d. Awarded to J. Popel von Lobkowicz. In the berní rula of 1654, 14 woodcutter chalets are identified for Nicklasdorf , twelve of which were in desolation. In 1787 the village consisted of 47 houses and in 1846 444 people lived in the 67 houses of Nickelsdorf.

After the abolition of patrimonial Nickelsdorf formed a district of the municipality Gebirgsneudorf in the district authority of Brüx from 1850 and had 462 inhabitants. The forester's house Flachsgrund / Lniště also belongs to the cadastre of Nickelsdorf. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia , the Czech place name Mikulovice arose . After the Munich Agreement , the village was added to the German Reich in 1938 and until 1945 belonged to the district of Brüx as a district of Gebirgsneudorf . After the end of World War II, Mikulovice came back to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were subsequently expelled . From 1949 Mikulovice belonged to the newly built Okres Litvínov. At the beginning of 1961, Mikulovice returned to Okres Most. In 1992 a wind turbine was built on the Strážný vrch ; In 2003 and 2004, this was expanded to include two more wind turbines.
