The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics is a ministry in the administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg . From 1952 to 1976 it was called the "Ministry of Economy", then "Ministry of Economy, Medium-Sized Enterprises and Transport" and from 1984 to 2011 it was called "Ministry of Economy". On May 12, 2011 it was merged with the Ministry of Finance to form the Ministry of Finance and Economy , but in 2016 it was split up again. The area of work (from the Ministry of Social Affairs) and urban development (from the Ministry of Transport) was reassigned.

Baden-Württemberg Innovation Prize - Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize

After the death of Baden-Württemberg Economics Minister Rudolf Eberle in 1984, the then newly introduced innovation award of the state of Baden-Württemberg was awarded in his honor in Baden-Württemberg Innovation Award - Dr. Renamed Rudolf Eberle Prize .
